To make my dollars s-t-r-e-t-c-h, I make sure that I use coupons whenever I can. I also love Michaels coupons! Without them, I don't think that I would be doing any crafts!

ps- Congrats on your 1000th sale!

I haven't made any huge changes. We've been on a budget ever since my husband got into Grad School. But I do love the Michaels' coupon, even though sometimes I don't really need anything, I just don't want it to go to waste!

To make my dollars stretch...I'm buying and making homemade (I love you, Etsy!)...it saves us money and I end up with higher quality and one of a kind items...can't go wrong there! Love your stuff!! I actually found your shop while perusing Etsy for Valentine's Day goodies...and that lead me to your blog! Thanks for the chance to win your FAB.U.LOUS paper goods! I'll be stopping by often!

Since I get paid bi-weekly, every pay day I let myself have a $20 treat. I write on slips of paper $20 items (or less) that I want from etsy or other cool indie sellers and pick one out of the hat! It prevents me from going WAY overboard (which is still none to happen on occassion) and rewards me for all my hard work ;)

Oh, these Valentine's are super CUTE! Thanks for the chance to win! To make my $$$ stretch, I use Hobby Lobby coupons & in store specials...pretty much refuse to pay full price!

I, too, use coupons whenever possible. I love Michael's 50% off coupons at the checkout also. It makes you go back more often! The only thing I don't like is you can't use a coupon on their books or magazines anymore. Boohoo... But I'm glad you can now use them on MS craft items! Big yeah!! Antother thing I try to do is use what I already have on hand, especially in a crafting situation.

I love Amy B-B's idea of treating yourself. It's like being on a diet; you just need to "cheat" sometimes.
My mantra right now is "Use it up, Wear it out. Make it do, or do without!"

Count me in as a coupon user! I love Michael's coupons along with another craft store's coupons, A.C. Moore. The great thing is that their stores accept each other's coupons. Check out the policy at your local Michael's. They may accept other competitors coupons...worth asking about. I've gone on binges at times that I've purchased an extra Saturday paper or two so that I have 2 or 3 50% off coupons. Oh, it can be so much fun, can't it!

IM USING EVERY COUPON I CAN GET MY HANDS ON. THE MICHAELS COUPON IS GREAT! THE HOBBY LOBBY ONE IS GREAT TOO! I AM ALSO TRYINGTO STOCK UP ON CRAFT SUPPLIES WHEN THEY GO ON SALE. JUST LAST WEEK, HOBBY LOBBY HAD THEIR 12X12 PAPER AND CARDSTOCK 4/$1.00 AND THEIR 8.5X11 PAPER 6/$1.00. I BOUGHT AS MUCH AS I COULD. I AM ALSO KEEPING MORE OF MY PAPER SCRAPS FOR FUTURE USE.

We don't have a Michael's where I live, but an hour and 20 min there is one. I happened to be there yesterday and got one of those coupons. There also is a store called Basket Market. It is a division of Hobby Lobby. The things they sell are a fraction of the original cost. You have to look though everything to find a deal. I can't go up there without stopping at that store.
Did all you know Hobby Lobby on their web site has a 40% off coupon you can print and use 1 a day? Sometimes the couopon may be off wilton, or paint brushes. But about every other week it is off the regular price of one item. Go look-this week it is there.
Joan Fabric's accept competitor coupons-so you can use Michael's or Hobby Lobby.
Congrats JenT!

I deffinately use coupons. Since I'm in Alaska there isn't much here except for in the big cities, but I got lucky to have a Michaels and Jo Annes. I love shopping there for my craft needs and also found that shopping on Etsy saves a bunch too. Plenty of things are cheaper than if bought in the stores. I love your shop also. I also get a lot of my supplies while on sale, but sometimes i just have to make due since they don't go on sale too often up here. Just have to wait for the perfect time. Another thing is recycled items. Not only cheaper but better for the world. :) Thanks for the chance to Win.

I never waste ANY scraps and I use recycled materials from packaging in my crafts. I also cut up thrifted books. Of course michaels coupons too, and trading.
